  2. Thanks for the visit, Alicia. I'm sorry you had to give up your beloved guinea pigs. We have two, they are sisters. My son is allergic to dogs and cats and always wanted a pet ~ he's doing quite well with these babies.
Your site is GORGEOUS! Lovely photos, relaxing music! Thanks for stopping by!

  3. My daughter certainly wants one--her mom on the other hand says different. Thanks for this.

  4. Good morning, le0pard13! My kids wanted them for a long time. They take good care of them, we have to prod them to clean the cage, sometimes, but they do it. They pick them up every day, though. They are so cute, we were all surprised at their little personalities. My husband and I are quite taken by them, too. Good luck ~ let me know what happens!

  5. Kathleen - What a cute little girl she is! I love the name, too : ). One of these days I'll have to post pictures of our doggies for Wordless Wed..

I think having pets is such a good experience for children; I know our daughter has benefited immensely from having pets around.

  7. Hi Margot,
This cutie makes sounds that reminded us of The Last Mimzy, that's how she earned her name! You should join in one of these Wordless Wednesdays ~ and post some doggie photos. I agree, it's a great experience for kids.

    Hi faerwillow,
Thanks for visiting today and for your kind, warm wishes. The orchid photo on your blog is breathtaking. The book I have written is filled with fate and serendipity, I'm sure you'd identify with it (I have to get an agent and a publisher, first!). One day!

  12. Night Owl Mama,
Mimzy and her sister Oreo are cuties, they stand up when we walk by and they lean on the cage bars; they allow us to "hold" their hands...I put my forefinger underneath their paws and they just hang out. Mimzy is a bit shy, though; she'll hide in the "igloo."

    Caite,
My son has wanted a puppy his whole life (he's almost 13), but he has severe allergies to pet dander. We've had the pair for almost two years now. When we hold them, they snuggle up to our necks.

    Thanks for visiting today!
